Your wedding painting will shout your love story, long after the party ends.
Booking a live wedding painter does double duty for your event. Not only will you get a beautiful keepsake of you and your soulmate, but you'll also be hiring entertainment for your guests! Painting captures the joy of your beautiful day in a way that photography simply never could.

What is Live Wedding Painting?
During the wedding itself, I'll set up, capture the moment with my camera, and then paint live for your guests for up to 6 hours. My job is also entertainment. I'll chat with your guests and, if desired, will even let them add a little paint! After the wedding, I take your special piece home, add finishing touches, protect it with varnish, add a hanging wire, and then deliver it to you within 60 days.

Painting performance of 6 hours in venue on your wedding day

Artist arrival 1 hour prior to start of session for professional easel set-up

A detailed painting of the couple in their venue with scene of choice

Photo captures of moment to be painted for artist's reference

Delivery or shipping of the completed painting within 60 days of the Wedding
Travel Fees: Travel fees up to 50 miles from Defiance, OH are included. Travel fees for gas and possible lodging will be added for further away weddings. Common travel locations include Cleveland / Akron (~$190), Columbus / Ashland (~$170), Ann Arbor (~$130) and Fort Wayne / Toledo (~$10). Yes, destination weddings are also an option I'm happy to discuss!
Completion: All paintings require completion after the wedding, as there is often 30-50 more hours of painting to be completed. This will also give time to add finishing touches and detail, varnish the painting for protection, and add a hanging wire.
Tax: Tax is not included in the above and will be added on prior to the final estimate. Tax charges typically range from 7-8% in Ohio.
Add-ons: Additional family members, guests, or pets can be added for a $200 fee per addition. Canvas prints or replicas can also be purchased (price varies). If desired, guests can also help add paint to the canvas, for free!
